Biblical Rationale:
•    The Bible is clear that one of the most important functions of Pastors is to “equip the saints to do the works of service” (Eph. 4:11-16). In addition we are to present every man/ woman “complete” in Christ (Col. 1:28-29).  Also the New Testament has a developmental theology (Hebrews 5-6) in that spiritual babies are to grow into young men and women and then to spiritual parents and eventually to become spiritual grandparents (1 John 2:12-15).

Purpose Statement:
•    Thomas Road Ministry School exists to…“Change our world by developing Christ followers who love God and love people! We desire to equip, encourage and empower people to follow Jesus Christ and to accomplish all that He has for them.

Goals:
•    We want to help people grow in their personal lives and to grow in their ability to serve the Lord.
•    We also want to come alongside the ministries of the church to help train people for service.
•    We desire to train Thomas Road members to go out and get involved in new works to reach people with the Gospel.

Meet the Director:
• Dr. Rod Dempsey has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has served as a Church Planter, Christian Education pastor, Small Group Pastor, Discipleship Pastor and Elder.
• He is currently Discipleship Pastor at Thomas Road and is the Director of the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
• His passion is to encourage, equip, empower people to discover and experience God’s will for their lives.
